The 2011 Carl Tait Hi-Liner Fan of the Year as for 2010 was awarded to Rita Beaudry on February 24, 2011.
Rita moved back to Hi-Liner Territory from Montana in 1980 to be involved in her nephew’s and niece’s Hi-Liner careers. During that time, she also helped with the concessions at Hanna Field while her niece was a cheerleader.
After that time, she has been an avid fan of Hi-Liner Athletics and a favorite at the HAC Concesssions! Her routine is to pay her admission, then stroll to the concessions for her trademark order of: Walking Taco, carrots & ranch, popcorn and a pop. She then heads into the HAC, never leaves her seat and cheers on our Hi-Liner teams.
Our Fan of the Year will have her name engraved on the official Carl Tait Memorial Hi-Liner Fan of the Year Plaque that is on display in the HAC lobby.
